These celebrities have opened themselves up to share personal insight, success, and big life events with you. These memoirs allow us to take a peak behind the curtain and see what's really going on in their lives. Not just what news articles, interviews, or their publicist post about them, but true sharing in a personal way.
A lot of people are not certain as to what makes up a memoir vs an autobiography. They have a few distinct difference.
Memoirs vs Autobiographies
1- Autobiographies are more emotional based but a bit heavier reading. Memoirs, on the other hand, usually are lighter reading and factual first person truth on an event or topic.
2- Autobiographies are the entire life on the person/subject. Memoirs are a given amount of time.
3- Lastly, another difference with autobiographies is they are usually chronilogical order. Memoirs can bounce back and forth within time to tell a story.
