Told through the lens of the wife and a hostage negotiator, you are taken back and forward through years of their lives and learn little pieces of the puzzle bit by bit. After the hostage scene, it's a bit of a slow burn but important and interesting nonetheless!"

"I am normally a "read before I watch" type of woman, but I enjoyed watching the Netflix Bridgerton TV series so much, I started reading the books. Anthony's story was one of my favorites capturing a bit of historical fiction (even if slightly flawed) with an amazing romance plot. The characters are beautifully flawed in the exact way they should be to make the story entertaining. I recommend not just watching, but reading this series by Julia Quinn!"
